About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team of change-makers on an initial short-term contract of 12 months, with the possibility to extend. In this role, you will lead projects of varying scale, budget, and discipline, managing multiple teams, project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating them to stakeholders. You will help identify future opportunities, improve processes, and drive the direction of client needs.

Responsibilities

Manage projects of varying scale, budget, and discipline.
Scope and plan projects with internal stakeholders.
Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle.
Manage multiple teams and project schedules.
Identify and communicate project risks to stakeholders.
Identify future opportunities and improve processes.
Drive the direction of client needs.
Manage a range of projects, with a primary focus on operations and commercials.
Collaborate across the agency and with teams in WPP.
Deliver multiple projects from client brief to final output.
Manage complex schedules involving internal and external teams.
Track projects and tasks, communicating schedule and considerations to senior leadership.
Prioritize activities for quick execution of critical path work items.
Drive projects to delivery, working closely with external production partners.
Coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues.
Develop reports to track planning, scheduling, issues, risks, and overall status.
Oversee input to support the creation of new processes and tools.
Monitor overall progress, including resolving issues, managing budget, and initiating corrective action.
Manage third-party vendors contributing to projects.
Work closely with Heads of Department and Resourcing teams to monitor overall resource allocations.

Requirements

Work closely and collaborate with all disciplines and departments within the agency.
Work well and exert influence as a member of a highly integrated team.
Prior experience as a Senior PM in a Creative agency (or similar) environment.
Leverage project management skills: risk management, status reporting, change management, defining budgets & scopes, write estimations and proposals, draft legal documents and SOWs.
Demonstrate strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills.
Implement robust analytical skills to identify issues and apply effective problem-solving techniques.
Communicate honestly and openly and always be open to feedback.
Experience managing a team, with the natural ability to motivate & lead.
Manage up to senior stakeholders and day-to-day peers as a central point of information.
Adopt strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
Be comfortable and confident working directly with clients.
