About the Role
Join ibis London Blackfriars as a Reservations Agent and provide exceptional, friendly, and engaging service to guests via phone, email, and in person. This role is crucial for optimizing hotel occupancy and average room rates.
Responsibilities
- Answer all calls promptly, courteously, and efficiently, obtaining all relevant information.
- Assist in optimizing hotel occupancy and average room rates by accurately actioning all reservations within the same working day.
- Offer and explain the Loyalty Programme to customers.
- Complete checks for duplicate bookings, fake bookings, etc., and take necessary action.
- Handle and resolve all customer complaints efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
- A commitment to delivering high levels of guest service.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Opera Cloud PMS expertise.
- Guest focused personality is essential.
