About the Role
Join Britain's wildest adventure at Chessington World of Adventures Resort as an Events and Experiences Host. You will sell and deliver premium guest experiences, birthday parties, VIP visits, and corporate events, playing a key role in creating unforgettable moments and contributing to revenue targets through exceptional service and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Host VIP experiences, animal encounters, birthday parties, and behind-the-scenes experiences.
- Guide guests around the Resort as part of Ultimate Day Out and VIP packages.
- Support the delivery of corporate events and conference centre functions.
- Promote, sell, and upsell experiences and products across the Resort, including Fastrack, Annual Passes, and other premium offerings.
- Provide exceptional guest service and build memorable guest interactions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Chessington and Merlin products and experiences.
- Complete cashier duties and ensure all transactions are processed accurately.
- Prepare event and conference spaces to a high standard.
- Complete daily operational paperwork and departmental administration.
- Deliver hotel packages to guests staying in on-site hotels.
- Drive the Safari Truck safely and in line with company policies and procedures (where applicable).
Requirements
- Positive attitude.
- Enjoy working as part of a team, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deliver jaw dropping fun to guests.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence is preferred.
