About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Weld Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing and assembly operations, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding industry weld standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welded aerospace components.
- Verify conformance to internal weld schedules.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols to verify conformance.
- Document inspection results on weld forms and electronic test plans.
- Verify adherence to industry standards such as AWS D17.1, ASME, or Nadcap requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to use a microscope and other visual enhancement equipment for prolonged periods.
- Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
