About the Role

ALIS is seeking an Events Marketing Manager to own the company's event strategy and execution, including industry conferences, customer events, executive dinners, and field programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about events, detail-oriented, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Events are crucial for building the ALIS brand, strengthening customer relationships, and generating pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of our annual user conference (FWD).
  • Evaluate and prioritize conferences, sponsorships, customer events, and field marketing opportunities.
  • Establish measurable goals and success metrics for every event.
  • Lead planning and execution for conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, customer events, and networking programs.
  • Manage budgets, logistics, vendor relationships, sponsorship deliverables, and onsite execution.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership to align events with business goals.
  • Develop repeatable event processes and playbooks that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Track performance, pipeline contribution, influenced revenue, and ROI.
  • Deliver post-event analysis and recommendations to leadership.
  • Own event budgets and ensure investments align with expected business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of experience leading B2B event marketing programs from strategy through execution.
  • Have a track record of using events to generate pipeline, strengthen customer relationships, and support revenue growth.
  • Are comfortable making recommendations backed by data, business impact, and ROI.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and know how to drive alignment without formal authority.
  • Can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enjoy creating memorable experiences and thrive in the fast-paced environment that comes with live events.
  • Ability to lift and move event materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Ability to travel regularly and participate in event setup and teardown activities when needed.
  • Events generate meaningful engagement, pipeline, and measurable business impact.
  • Customers, prospects, and partners leave events with a stronger connection to ALIS.
  • Internal stakeholders view events as a strategic growth channel and trusted part of the business.
  • Event reporting provides clear visibility into ROI and informs future investment decisions.
  • Event processes scale with the business while maintaining a high-quality attendee experience.
