About the Role

GS Power Partners (GSPP) is seeking a collaborative, highly driven, and results-oriented intern for its Corporate Strategy department. This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to work with a cross-functional team. The Corporate Strategy team develops and refines processes to help GSPP achieve its company goals, spanning interdepartmental communication, information sharing, company reporting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the solar industry, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be eager to contribute to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Strategy team in developing presentations, reports, and analyses that inform company-wide decision-making.
  • Assist in creating and refining internal processes to improve interdepartmental communication, information sharing, and overall company efficiency.
  • Conduct research and data collection across departments to identify opportunities for operational improvement and strategic growth.
  • Prepare polished PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Development, Finance, Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Interconnection, to provide strategic support.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as priorities evolve, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; comfort with building presentations, organizing data, and creating clear visual summaries.
  • High proficiency in AI platforms, preferably Claude (but not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into concise, actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Financial modeling and coding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Renewable energy experience.
  • Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. If undergraduate, Juniors or Seniors.
  • Preferred Majors: Business Strategy, Economics, Environmental Studies, Finance, or a related field.
