About the Role
Climate Analytics is seeking freelance communications professionals to join their roster of approved contractors. Successful applicants will be engaged for specific pieces of work or short time periods to add capacity to the team, focusing on areas such as report editing, document layout and design, infographics, event organizing, video production, media relations, and social media. The role requires a high standard of factual rigor, communications flair, a global mindset, and a passion for climate action. Candidates must be experienced self-starters capable of working independently and delivering on deadlines.

Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Climate Analytics
- At least five years of relevant experience in communications, in a setting where factual accuracy and the weight of evidence are critical
- Experience in climate change communications is preferred
- Proven ability to build positive, effective relationships with diverse teams
- Experience working across timezones in multicultural or international environments
- English fluency to at least C1 level
- Independent work set-up requiring no infrastructural addition
- Registered for tax as a freelancer/consultant in the country of residence
- Ability to take a brief and work quickly and independently to deliver on deadline at the required standard
