About the Role
Wavepoint is seeking a Mechanic/Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair our forklift fleet.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair electric, gas & propane forklifts
- Test equipment after repairs
- Remove unsafe equipment from service
- Maintain forklift repair logs
- Manage forklift batteries and propane tanks
Requirements
- Forklift repair experience required
- Experience with Toyota, Hyster, Clark, Crown & Yale required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to use hand and power tools
- Able to read repair manuals
- Able to kneel, lie down and access all areas of a forklift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to safely perform hands-on mechanical work
