About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate Research Analyst to conduct valuation analysis focusing on the Building Materials and Steel sector, convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions, build and maintain financial models, provide investment recommendations, and remain current on market developments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct valuation analysis focusing on the Building Materials and Steel sector
- Convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- Provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
- Remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies
Requirements
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in a financials sell-side research role, accounting, consulting practice or materials company
- Have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
- Confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
- Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
- Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
- Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows
- Validate outputs and align with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
