About the Role
We are seeking a problem solver with strong quantitative skills to join a fast-paced trading team and build a client-facing trading platform. This role requires a natural leader with a history of consistent revenue generation and a proven ability to build businesses.
Responsibilities
- Proactively keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities.
- Act as a strong client franchise trader with wide-ranging relationships.
- Run various types of analysis to improve risk-taking, PnL reporting, and franchise market share.
- Follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits, and compliance policies.
Requirements
- Trading experience in leveraged finance credit across bonds and/or loans.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and strategies across asset classes.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a global credit platform with a strong revenue track record.
- Willingness to meet clients 2-3 times a week to further our franchise.
- Strong credit analysis skills; experience as a desk analyst before becoming a trader is appreciated.
- Fast learner with attention to detail.
- Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflows, with sound judgment for validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
