About the Role
Join the Presentations Team within UBS's Investment Banking division, creating high-quality presentation materials for clients using PowerPoint. This role involves supporting sales activities and requires a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Create PowerPoint presentations and pitchbooks for clients, following UBS’s official style guidelines
- Work closely with bankers in Japan and sometimes with teams overseas
- Learn new skills and contribute to successful pitch materials
- Create and refine presentation materials for client meetings and proposals
- Organize complex information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand slides
- Propose improvements to the way information is conveyed from a design perspective
- Refine and polish existing materials to improve readability, consistency, and overall quality
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements, reflecting them in the materials
- Propose and implement improvements from a design perspective
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality output even under tight deadlines
Requirements
- Experience creating presentations (PowerPoint), preferably in banking or professional services
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with strong attention to detail and design
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and basic English
- Candidates who can accommodate slightly shifted schedules (e.g., early mornings, afternoon shifts, or night shifts) are highly welcome
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in presentation design or creating presentations using PowerPoint (e.g., sales materials, proposal materials, marketing materials, pitch materials; portfolio welcome)
- Ability to organize information and create layouts and charts that are visually easy to understand
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in consulting, business, marketing, or creative fields is desirable
- Experience using Adobe tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is desirable
