About the Role
We are looking for an insurance investment banker to create partnerships, increase product and service returns, generate new ideas, manage a team, make sound judgments, and motivate others by providing a vision of shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Create partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client relationships
- Increase the returns of products and services
- Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
- Manage a team and plan overall resource requirements, by recruiting, developing and retaining talented individuals
- Make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards)
- Motivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals
- Advising clients on a range of market and strategic matters, including enhancing value for and growing the shareholder base, raising capital, and strategic advisory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally within business administration, finance, or similar
- Ideally 5 years of experience working within insurance investment banking, specifically balance sheet insurance experience
- Great communicator, whether presenting to clients or senior executives
- Able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
- Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows
- Validate outputs and align with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
