About the Role
As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. Your sharp eye and attention to detail are crucial for capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens.
Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service is always a top priority
- Handles inquiries made by the public and clients
- Conducts screenings of persons upon entry to the facility
- Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic
- May perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio)
- Prepares clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required
- Foot and Vehicle Patrol when warranted
- Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access to the site
- Assist Operations Management in Emergencies
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Texas security license or the ability to obtain one
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain one
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
