About the Role
Fynapse is seeking a GTM Product Enablement Manager to build and own the product and industry onboarding journey for new GTM hires. This role focuses on teaching teams to sell the Fynapse platform to specific buyers and industries, ensuring consistency and effectiveness as the platform evolves. You will be responsible for creating the program, tooling, and standards from scratch, measured by ramp time and certification coverage.
Responsibilities
- Own the product and industry onboarding journey for every new GTM hire: AEs, BDRs, Sales Engineers & Account Managers.
- Design role-specific onboarding paths, differentiating content depth based on role (e.g., BDR vs. Sales Engineer).
- Build verification into the onboarding process to ensure new hires can perform unsupervised and measure ramp time.
- Coach the team to reduce the time to the first qualified opportunity.
- Teach core curriculum including value propositions, buyer personas, business case construction, and trigger events.
- Teach industry context for priority verticals (Banking, Insurance, Payments, SaaS, Telcos) and adjacent sectors.
- Adapt curriculum for regional differences in North America, UK & Ireland, and Australia.
- Build and own enablement for migrating existing enterprise clients to Fynapse.
- Develop the expansion playbook for migrated clients.
- Work with Account Management to align commercial narratives with delivery realities.
- Create certifications for industry narratives, demo storylines, business case creation, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
- Coach in the flow of work through call reviews, deal debriefs, live calls, and pre-meeting preparation.
- Diagnose team weaknesses using data from call recordings, win/loss analysis, and pipeline metrics.
- Refresh enablement standards based on product, competitive, or market shifts.
- Shape the tooling used for enablement, focusing on resourcefulness and AI integration.
- Make knowledge easily findable for self-service at the point of need.
- Co-create enablement materials with top performers, extracting and teaching existing successful practices.
- Curate a concise and current set of enablement materials, prioritizing deletion of outdated content.
- Design enablement that works across distributed teams in different time zones, utilizing self-serve materials and remote certification.
- Support complex deals and present at client and industry events.
- Build enablement for a partner and ecosystem motion, including advisory, implementation, and reseller partners.
Requirements
- Experience selling finance software into target industries: banking and financial services, insurance, technology and SaaS, telecommunications, or comparable regulated, high-volume environments.
- Existing finance and accounting knowledge, capable of holding unaided conversations with financial controllers and teaching related concepts.
- Direct experience carrying a number or owning customer outcomes as an account manager, net new seller, sales engineer, pre-sales consultant, or client-facing consultant.
- Experience migrating clients from established platforms to newer ones and enabling others to conduct this conversation.
- Ability to translate technical platforms into buyer-relevant narratives and pitch at the appropriate level for different stakeholders (e.g., CFO vs. Finance Systems Manager).
- Facilitation and coaching skills across a range of go-to-market functions.
- Pipeline literacy and data-driven approach, using call recordings and win/loss data to identify and address team weaknesses.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the discipline to reinforce learning.
- Experience enabling distributed teams across time zones and ensuring knowledge retention without direct supervision.
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA), or equivalent practical depth (Desirable).
- Direct experience with ERP, subledger, accounting engine, revenue recognition, or financial close software (Desirable).
- Awareness of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards (Desirable).
- Experience enabling partner or channel ecosystems (Desirable).
