About the Role
This role supports the day-to-day operations of a retail store, focusing on delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring accurate, efficient execution of merchandise, inventory, and operational processes. The position partners with Sales Associates and store leadership to meet customer needs, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold brand standards, contributing to overall store productivity and a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and direct them to the appropriate Sales Associate.
- Provide friendly, responsive service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
- Communicate inventory availability and retrieve merchandise for customers.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with online order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
- Receive deliveries, unload stock, and process merchandise.
- Replenish merchandise from storage to the sales floor.
- Perform physical inventory counts and audits, investigating discrepancies.
- Assist with product displays and maintain merchandise presentation according to visual and brand standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Operate and maintain store technology and equipment.
- Execute price changes and update store signage.
- Maintain adequate supplies and client hospitality items.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by following security procedures.
- Complete administrative tasks, including organizing paperwork and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with store leadership and team members to support operational goals.
- Assist with additional business needs during peak selling periods.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment, is preferred.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in using retail software systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
