About the Role
We are looking for a casual Catering Assistant to join our team at a prestigious London hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to join a recently mobilised contract and help establish the operation while building a great service. You will work alongside a friendly team in a professional hotel environment, with opportunities to learn and develop.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen and service areas are clean, well-presented and well-stocked
- Support with food preparation and service
- Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
- Provide a warm and friendly service to customers
- Help maintain high standards across the operation
- Follow COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures
- Work as part of the wider team to ensure a smooth service
Requirements
- A positive and friendly attitude
- A genuine interest in delivering great customer service
- A team player who enjoys working with others
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn and get involved
- Catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- Reliable and able to work well in a busy environment
