About the Role
As the Manager, Pursuits, you will lead a team of marketers and guide the development of strategic pursuits that wow clients and win projects. This role supports the Dallas, Hawaii, and Energy business units and works closely with executive leadership and other key stakeholders. You are empowered to unleash your creativity and strategic mind to significantly contribute to Moss’ growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Manage, guide, and train a marketing team focused on strategic pursuits, ensuring their growth and development.
- Develop and oversee strategic pursuit plans in collaboration with business development and operational leaders.
- Manage pursuit deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring compliance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the Director, Pursuits on pursuit strategy, process improvement, and innovative solutions.
- Maintain proactive communication with Marketing and Communications Business Partners for alignment and cross-functional coordination.
- Critically edit and proof content for compelling proposal responses and presentations.
- Manage print production of deliverables.
- Collaborate with pursuit team members to ensure maintenance of the marketing database and marketing materials.
- Establish and follow processes that ensure quality proposals and adherence to brand standards.
- May include managing consultants, developing project award strategies, and collecting case studies.
Requirements
- 5-7 years in the A/E/C industry with a bachelor’s degree.
- Supervisory experience.
- Proven track record of successful pursuit/proposal development.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to meet project deadlines.
- Comfortable coordinating across time zones to support multiple regional offices.
- Ability to travel as needed to support pursuit activity.
