About the Role
The paraprofessional educator works with small or large groups of students under the leadership of the certified classroom teacher. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the education field and possibly become a Teacher In Training in future years.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in the classroom - gathering materials, leading small groups of students, and tutoring students
- Supervise students in the classroom and outside the classroom
- Support students in their learning
- Provide necessary accommodations and modifications to students
