About the Role
The Shift Utility Person provides support to the production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve plant performance. This role involves running food manufacturing processing equipment, performing housekeeping duties, following work instructions to ensure food safety and quality, and reporting safety or quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Running various food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Company Policies and Procedures
- Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality
- Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues
Requirements
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus

Salary/Compensations
- Starting rate is $25.34/hour with a $0.50/hour shift differential. After 6 months the rate will be $25.87/hour
