About the Role
Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Tour Guide to lead guests around London Stadium, bringing its stories, achievements, and atmosphere to life. Share the history of the stadium, including West Ham United F.C. and major events like the London 2012 Olympics and concerts, to create an unforgettable experience. This role is ideal for outgoing and confident individuals looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicate confidently and clearly to large groups of guests throughout the tour experiences.
- Engage guests in the exciting history of West Ham United Football Club, stadium events, such as concerts, Major League Baseball London Series, Monster Trucks, UK Athletics, and the London 2012 Olympics.
- Execute tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence.
Requirements
- No degree or experience required.
- DBS approved, or willing to partake in a DBS check.
- Interests in sports and entertainment events.
- Strong skills in communication, public speaking, people orientation, time management, and organisation.
- Ability to move around the venue.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, attending shifts between Monday and Sunday.
