About the Role
The Human Capital Business Partner role in NY will support Senior Business Partners covering the firm’s investing and distribution businesses. This position provides support to day-to-day Human Capital operations and partners closely across the Human Capital Business Partner team, with a primary focus on US employees, but also coordinating with global HC colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Assist Human Capital Business Partners with day-to-day operational and administrative needs.
- Prepare, draft, and process offer letters and employment agreements.
- Coordinate with external immigration counsel on visa-related matters.
- Track immigration cases, timelines, and required documentation.
- Manage headcount reporting and tracking with Comp and FPA teams.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and shared trackers.
- Support key year-end processes, including compensation, promotions, talent reviews, and performance management.
- Liaise with other departments within and outside of Human Capital to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Support ad hoc Human Capital projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience preferred, ideally in a professional services, financial services, or technology-driven organization.
- Clear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong execution and project management skills.
- Highly organized, very detail oriented, proactive problem-solver, solutions-oriented.
- Ability to anticipate obstacles and address issues early.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) preferred.
- Interest in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency and quality of work.
