About the Role
Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Senior Controller in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Creation and further development of reports, analyses, and key figures for management and departments
- Budgeting
- Forecasting and intra-year planning
- Analysis of deviations and derivation of recommendations for action
- Preparation of evaluations and presentations relevant to decision-making
- Close collaboration with accounting and ensuring data quality and plausibility
- Optimization and further development of existing controlling processes
- Participation in projects and initiatives in the finance department
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable degree with a focus on finance or controlling
- Several years of professional experience (min. 3 years) in controlling, ideally in a comparable position
- Good understanding of business contexts and planning and reporting processes
- Confident use of Excel and ideally experience with ERP systems and BI tools
- Strong affinity for numbers, analytical strength, and problem-solving skills
- Structured way of working, strong communication skills, and hands-on mentality
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken), good English skills are an advantage
