About the Role

Provide diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans and support to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, NY locations. Requires passion for patient care, problem-solving, a willingness to learn, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment according to safety protocols.
Conduct medical intakes.
Enter medical notes in the EMR system.
Utilize sterile technique for procedure setup and patient preparation.
Assist during procedures.
Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
Care for Ultrasound equipment and report any issues.
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and the healthcare team.

Requirements

Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
Experience with EMR systems.
Experience with lower extremity/vascular procedures is preferred.
Certified Medical Sonographer certification.
RVT or RVS certification is preferred.
