About the Role

The LIONS Commercial Partnerships team is seeking an Account Executive to support key accounts in partnerships with the Senior Account Manager. This role will drive revenue for the events product portfolio and work with clients from introduction to delivery of their partnership on site and digitally.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects and schedules for Senior Account Manager to support client management.
  • Support account growth and new business development by attending calls, taking notes, drafting contracts, creating sales presentations, and developing new business outreach.
  • Support Senior Account Manager in liaising with internal LIONS teams, including operations, marketing, content, awards & finance.
  • Assist with accurate contact, pipeline, and activity information in Salesforce.
  • Provide on-site operational support during the Cannes Lions Festival period, including direct liaison with clients and suppliers.
  • Independently manage smaller clients in addition to supporting the Senior Account Manager.
  • Travel for necessary event operations, site visits, and planning to London, UK HQ and Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes, France.
  • Achieve the designated Account Executive performance target.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in a sales or a sales focused customer facing environment with evidence of demonstrable success and growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Eye for creativity and new ideas.
  • Ability to work with suppliers and partners to deliver ambitious projects in an organised and high-quality manner.
  • Top-tier organisation and account management skills.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • Curiosity to learn about the creative & marketing industry.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Willing and able to travel.

Skills

  • Interest and/or experience in the advertising, tech and creative industries.
  • Excellent literacy and numeric skills.
  • Confident verbal communications skills.
  • Computer literate, use of Google, Microsoft Suite and internal CRM.
  • Second language skills (French and/or Spanish are of significant added value).

  • $65,000-70,000 plus commission
