About the Role
Portioning and serving healthy meals to children at schools and daycare centers, organizing the serving station, and ensuring food quality.
Responsibilities
- Portioning and serving healthy meals to children at schools and daycare centers.
- Organizing the serving station.
- Checking food delivery, verifying quality, and signing delivery notes.
- Daily cleaning of the serving area and washing used dishes (e.g., food warmers).
- Assisting in kitchens with simple food preparation (e.g., cold dishes and salads) on occasion.
- Adhering to high hygiene and quality standards (HACCP concept).
- Documentation.
Requirements
- No specific professional qualifications required; training as a hospitality professional is desirable.
- Experience as a server in the gastronomy sector or in a kitchen is desirable.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards is desirable.
- Work diligently and adhere to work instructions.
- Possess a high quality awareness.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to high hygiene standards.
- Enjoy working with children and adolescents.
- Work well in a team and communicate in a appreciative, respectful, and child-oriented manner.
