About the Role
The Level II RN is accountable for providing competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process. This role may involve expanded unit responsibilities such as charge nurse or preceptor, supporting peers, and contributing to a safe unit environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other health care providers and team members to achieve patient outcomes and improve the care environment.
- Uses the nursing process and evidence-based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care.
- Uses appropriate team communication methods.
- Practices care that reflects the patient condition and priorities.
- Provides support to team problem solving.
- Identifies opportunities for self-growth and contributes to the development of other learners.
- Contributes to safe unit environment and operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months RN expertise in an acute care setting.
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).

Salary/Compensations
- $40.03-51.00 plus weekend allowance
