About the Role
Designers support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. They provide fast, thorough, and friendly service, assess customer needs, offer showroom tours, set up for measures, present room designs, and make purchasing recommendations. Designers also ensure samples and brochures are stocked and that displays and showrooms are appealing and safe, ultimately driving sales to meet department and store goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers.
- Welcome customers to the store.
- Assess customer kitchen and/or bath project needs.
- Provide showroom tours.
- Set up customers for kitchen and/or bath measures.
- Meet with customers to go over room designs.
- Make purchasing recommendations.
- Assess stock levels of samples and brochures and restock as necessary.
- Ensure special order displays and showrooms promote an appealing and safe shopping environment.
- Drive sales to support department and store goals.
