About the Role
Join Pacific Life Re’s Actuarial Placement Programme for a year of hands-on experience working alongside industry experts, building the foundations for a future actuarial career.
Responsibilities
- Gain a year of hands-on experience working alongside industry experts.
- Contribute meaningfully to real projects.
- Work on meaningful projects that contribute to our business and support our clients.
- Receive mentoring and discover what an actuarial career looks like in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Ambitious university students in their penultimate year of study.
- Must be returning to university to complete your final year following the placement.
- Applications from graduates will not be considered.
- Predicted 2:1 or above in a STEM degree.
- Minimum A grade in Maths at ‘A’ level (or equivalent).
Skills
- Curious, analytical thinking.
- Passion for problem-solving.
- Great with numbers and enjoy working with data.
- Strong team player who likes solving problems collaboratively.
- Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
- Energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
