About the Role

Conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select Payments, Processors, & FinTech securities to aid in making solid investment decisions. Author research reports on covered companies to communicate investment theses and opine on news flow events. Build and maintain financial models to track and value companies. Prepare research reports that include company overview, competitive analysis, valuation, and other relevant information based on quantitative and fundamental factors. Communicate investment theses to clients and institutional sales. Attend industry and investor events. Perform due diligence for potential banking transactions and companies (IPO’s and follow-ons).

Responsibilities

Conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select Payments, Processors, & FinTech securities.
Author research reports on covered companies.
Build and maintain financial models to track and value companies.
Prepare research reports including company overview, competitive analysis, and valuation.
Communicate investment theses to clients and institutional sales.
Attend industry and investor events.
Perform due diligence for potential banking transactions and companies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
MBA preferred but not essential.
Experience in the evaluation of companies is an advantage.
Top-notch customer service focus and attitude for client engagement.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements is an advantage.
Solid know-how of Microsoft Excel.
Understanding other programming languages is an advantage.
Excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative models, reports and presentations.
Inquisitive, organized and detail-oriented.
Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows.
Sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards and ethical use.
Investment banking and/or buyside experience is ideal.
