About the Role
We are looking for an emerging analyst to support and execute research for a senior analyst, conduct valuation analysis, build and maintain financial models, prepare and publish investment research, and construct investment recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute research for a senior analyst within a sector team
- Conduct valuation analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- Prepare and publish investment research
- Construct investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation, and risk assessments
- Remain current on market and industry developments
- Link industry knowledge to investment views
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in equity research, investment banking or in a consulting role
- Business level fluency in English and native Japanese language ability to support global and local client base
- Successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
- Confident ability to review and interpret corporate reports and financial statements
- Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
- Inquisitive, organized, and able to work independently
