About the Role
Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering packages promptly and safely to customers. Drivers follow assigned routes and schedules, operate company-provided delivery vehicles, and use an issued handheld device for navigation. The role includes loading and unloading packages, interacting with customers, and working safely in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to a variety of customer addresses.
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Use an issued handheld device for navigation.
- Load, unload, prepare, and inspect delivery vehicles.
- Provide friendly and customer-focused service.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Lift packages up to 50 lbs. and enter/exit the delivery van and walk stairs throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent driving record required. No points.
- At least 2 years of driving experience required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
