About the Role

Working as a Team Member, you will be key to making customers feel welcome and help to create the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience. MERKUR Slots invests in training and supports you to be the best you can be.

Responsibilities

Ensure the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
Ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
Monitor customer actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious and/or disruptive behaviour.
Assist with any administration to 100% accuracy.
Help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
Ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
Interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate, logging all interactions.
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation adhering to the brand dress code while on duty.
Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

Requirements

Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment
Experienced delivering excellent customer service
Willingness to learn and develop
Flexible and dedicated
Attention to detail
Must be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
Must be flexible and able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
