About the Role
LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is seeking a qualified professional to prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports for its UK entities. This role involves financial analysis, supporting junior staff, and acting as a key audit contact.
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts for the LGT WM Jersey entity and supporting other LGT WM UK entities.
- Preparing month-end management and Board Information, including AuA, NAI, ROA, Jersey Team, and Jersey Entity reporting.
- Performing financial analysis, including analytical review and commentary.
- Supporting junior staff with purchase invoices, staff expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Processing monthly management journals, including accruals, prepayments, and salaries.
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and the Fixed Asset register.
- Performing intercompany reconciliations with LGT WM UK Group and the wider LGT group, including communication with Group counterparts.
- Serving as a key UK audit contact for all WMUK entities alongside the Head of Accounting, liaising with external auditors, and providing necessary information.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for all WMUK entities, adhering to strict timelines.
- Handling regulatory reporting and tax filings.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Recently qualified or 1 year post-qualified experience.
- Prior use of an accounting system preferred.
- Experience in an audit background or prior involvement with audits.
- Excellent numeracy, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and strong time management skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and focus on quality of work.
- Experience in the financial services sector is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
