About the Role

Develop Nature Planet's business across South East England by managing an established customer portfolio and acquiring new clients in the attractions, leisure, tourism, and retail sectors. This role focuses on growing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities within a key European market.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships within the territory.
  • Develop existing accounts to increase sales and product penetration.
  • Introduce new products, ranges, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Identify, approach, and win new customers.
  • Understand customer businesses to create relevant product and assortment proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations.
  • Plan and conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects.
  • Manage sales pipeline, customer activities, orders, and follow-up.
  • Gather market intelligence and identify new trends and commercial opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly sales action plans and report on progress.
  • Achieve the agreed annual sales budget for the territory.
  • Collaborate with UK and European colleagues.
  • Plan own working day and customer visits with considerable freedom.

Requirements

  • Experienced B2B sales professional with commercial drive and relationship-building skills.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Enjoy being in the market and spending time with customers.
  • Confident communicating with all levels, from operational employees to senior management.
  • Ability to constructively challenge existing solutions and introduce new ideas.
  • Skilled at listening and understanding customer value drivers.
  • Work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Possess energy, ambition, and a genuine desire to win.
  • Outgoing and approachable personality.
  • Understand that strong sales results are built through credibility, persistence, and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to the team.
  • A good sense of humor is a plus.
