About the Role
As part of an interdisciplinary engineering team, you will drive the technical planning, development, and implementation of innovative energy projects, focusing on future-oriented solutions for the energy transition, customers, and society.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical engineering concepts and basic documents (e.g., Single-Line Diagram).
- Plan and coordinate solutions for complex electrical engineering issues, including grid connection, power distribution, protection technology, load flow and short-circuit calculations, and real-time simulations.
- Develop requirements and support the implementation of station control systems according to IEC61850.
- Create electrical engineering task specifications, lead external planning partners, and oversee their planning.
- Participate in contract negotiations (e.g., grid connection agreements, EPC contracts).
- Develop technical solutions for system services such as primary, secondary, and minute reserve power.
- Present grid connection and own consumption concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the creation of project phase-dependent documents, cost estimates, and approval documents.
- Create tenders for the electrical engineering aspects of new construction projects and evaluate offers.
- Oversee and review electrical engineering execution planning during project realization.
- Contribute to the further development of quality standards and planning processes.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering planning, preferably in the power plant sector or an industrial environment.
- Sound knowledge in high, medium, and low voltage, including all relevant guidelines, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in project execution and ideally a project management certification (e.g., IPMA).
- Structured, solution-oriented approach combined with team spirit, strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and initiative.
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken), with German being the primary working language.
