About the Role
Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician (Accredited Checking Technician/Dispenser) for a busy dispensary in West London. This role supports the safe and efficient supply of medicines, with a focus on accredited checking duties and maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Work as an Accredited Checking Technician within the dispensary service.
- Accurately dispense and final check prescribed medicines in line with local policies and procedures.
- Support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and wider healthcare teams.
- Assist with stock management and medicines supply processes.
- Support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Requirements
- Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Hold an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.
- Have previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- Demonstrate strong dispensary and medicines management knowledge.
- Be experienced in dispensing and final accuracy checking processes.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
