About the Role
Vattenfall is seeking a Working Student to support Business Controlling for Business Unit Solar & Batteries within BA Wind. This role will focus on supporting Risk Management activities for Hybrid projects, with an emphasis on quality assurance of risk documentation and planning/scheduling Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) risk assessments and workshops.
Responsibilities
- Support the risk management process, including identification, assessment, and proactive management of the risk register.
- Ensure the risk register is kept up-to-date according to ISO31000:2018.
- Integrate Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for Cost and Schedule into projects and help management interpret results with possible scenarios.
- Track open actions, due dates, and escalation triggers, ensuring timely closure and documentation.
- Maintain templates, checklists, and process documentation, continuously improving work processes.
- Support reporting, including weekly/monthly status updates, risk manager reports, and preparation of management-ready materials.
- Provide occasional on-site support for Hybrid construction sites, workshops, audits, and coordination.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university (Bachelor/Master) with at least one year remaining in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a similar field.
- German language proficiency at B2 level.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute quality checks with a structured mindset.
- Good organizational and communication skills, demonstrating reliability, self-dependence, follow-up abilities, and stakeholder coordination.
- First exposure to risk management, quality management, audits, or finance controls is a plus.
- Experience with risk registers, issue trackers, or document control systems (e.g., SharePoint) is a plus.
