About the Role
The Erasmus Berlin gGmbH is seeking pedagogical specialists for its daycare center in Berlin-Heinersdorf. The Erasmus Group operates 12 facilities, supporting over 860 children from 10 months of age in learning three languages using the immersion method.
Responsibilities
- Education, care, and upbringing of children in three languages using reform-pedagogical approaches
- Work in a highly motivated, trilingual, international team
- Further development of the quality of our pedagogical work
- Individual support of children in group work
- Regular team meetings
- Parental involvement
Requirements
- Completed training as a childcare professional (Erzieher_in) or a degree in social pedagogy (Diplom Sozialpädagoge/-pädagogin), state-recognized or with equivalent recognition as a pedagogical specialist in early childhood education in Berlin.
- Solid and well-founded values education combined with an openness to the adventurous world of our children
- Empathy
- Enjoyment of working with children
- High standards for one's own work and the work of others
- An interest in looking beyond the obvious
- The ability to listen and understand
- Knowledge of multiple language focuses of our work at a native-speaker level is advantageous.
