About the Role
This paid internship will last three to six months, offering the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of primary and secondary fundraising markets, as well as the real estate sector. You will play an important role in advising clients on market and strategic matters, including primary capital raises and secondary market solutions.
Responsibilities
- Involve in the origination and execution of mandates, and provide distribution and general marketing support.
- Support origination efforts, contribute to pitch presentations, and understand market trends and participants.
- Assist GP clients throughout the fundraise process from preparation to closing.
- Participate in restructuring funds and assist institutional investors with liquidation or monetization of holdings.
- Gain insight into fundraising, advisory, restructuring, and recapitalization assignments across real estate market sub-segments.
Requirements
- Must be in the penultimate or final year of degree, or have graduated within 6 months of the internship start date.
- On track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in undergraduate/bachelor degree.
- Evidence experimental and responsible use of AI to improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Possess values aligned with the firm: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking with strong communication skills.
- Motivated to work in a demanding business environment with tight deadlines.
