About the Role
This 10-week paid summer internship in Debt Capital Markets within Global Banking offers ambitious students the chance to gain experience in finance and banking with a global firm. Interns will support transaction origination, execution, market analysis, and client presentations, working closely with various banking teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the origination, structuring and execution of DCM transactions
- Monitor market developments and identify financing opportunities
- Conduct company, sector and market analysis to support client recommendations
- Prepare pitchbooks, client presentations and market updates using Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg
- Partner with Origination, Syndicate, Sales, Trading, Research and Coverage teams on live transactions
Requirements
- In their penultimate or final year of studies
- On track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate / bachelor degree
- Can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
