Responsibilities
- Gain insight into how an in-house legal team supports internal clients, manages legal risk, and contributes to strategic initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing legal matters across various practice areas, including UK financial services regulation, commercial contracts, technology, and corporate governance.
- Conduct legal research and support the preparation of legal notes, briefings, and contractual documentation.
- Support legal professionals in advising business and support functions on practical, business-focused legal questions.
- Contribute to regulatory implementation, digital transformation, and cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and other corporate functions.
Requirements
- Studying towards, or has recently completed, an undergraduate law degree or an equivalent qualification.
- On track for, or has achieved, at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent.
- Hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative.
- Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
- Motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines.
- Can demonstrate how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
