About the Role

This is a 6-month paid internship program designed for ambitious students interested in financial services and global market trends. Interns will gain hands-on experience in quantitative modeling, collaborate with trading desks, and learn about the industry, clients, and the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Research, test, and implement derivatives, optimization, and inventory prediction models and tools.
  • Collaborate closely with trading desks and control functions to provide quantitative and modelling support.
  • Work with Front Office stakeholders such as Trading, Structuring, and Sales to enhance pricing capabilities.
  • Ensure applications and models are tested to high and strategic standards.

Requirements

  • Must be in the penultimate or final year of a degree, or have recently graduated within six months of starting the internship.
  • Must have or be on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree.
  • Possess a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, science, engineering).
  • Academic familiarity with quantitative finance, derivatives modelling, pricing, or Machine Learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and products.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining complex ideas.
  • Strong programming and algorithmic skills.
  • Ability to evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Curious and eager to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
