About the Role

The Philanthropy Lead will bring the company’s philanthropic strategy to life, focusing on Corporate Philanthropy, national nonprofit partnerships, and purpose-driven campaigns. This role manages key national nonprofit partnerships, project manages philanthropic campaigns, and ensures purpose strategy execution. The role serves as a key connector between Philanthropy and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of national and community partnership strategy.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for national nonprofit partners.
  • Manage national partnership deliverables, timelines, commitments, approvals, and impact reporting.
  • Support partnership development and evaluation, including research, proposals, and contracts.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to translate national philanthropic priorities into local activation opportunities.
  • Support Regional Marketing in identifying and vetting local nonprofit and community partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and ideation to Regional Marketing on local giveback events.
  • Help establish best practices and resources for local giveback events.
  • Identify opportunities to connect national nonprofit partnerships with local chapters and leaders.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to evaluate local and regional activations and identify learnings.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the national and local nonprofit landscape.
  • Project manage monthly and national philanthropic campaigns from planning through execution and reporting.
  • Develop and manage detailed workback plans, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies for campaigns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring philanthropic campaigns to life across customer and employee touchpoints.
  • Coordinate marketing and creative asset needs for philanthropic campaigns.
  • Serve as a central point of contact across workstreams, identifying gaps and escalating risks.
  • Help develop campaign recaps and impact reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop clear philanthropic messaging across various channels.
  • Maintain attention to detail across contracts, partnership commitments, and marketing language.
  • Ensure philanthropic messaging aligns with partnership agreements and brand voice.
  • Build strong relationships and maintain communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase the visibility and impact of philanthropic partnerships.
  • Serve as a key day-to-day partner to the external impact agency.
  • Manage agency timelines, requests, and materials.
  • Support longer-term purpose and impact strategy, research, and benchmarking with the agency.
  • Partner with Philanthropy Operations to develop reports measuring performance and impact.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights for program optimization.
  • Prepare presentations and impact reports for senior leadership.
  • Monitor program adoption and recommend enhancements.
  • Manage and support select Kendra Scott Foundation programs and initiatives.
  • Manage program calendars, timelines, and partner communications for the Foundation.
  • Partner with internal teams to support execution of Foundation program activations.
  • Ensure accurate program impact metrics and marketing materials are available.
  • Support Foundation-related PR, storytelling, and donor requests.
  • Project manage select Foundation special projects.
  • Identify key Foundation milestones and storytelling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, partners, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Extreme attention to detail, particularly when reviewing contracts, partnership deliverables, marketing language, impact claims, timelines, and campaign mechanics.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and identify potential challenges.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and confidence working with nonprofit executives, external agencies, and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex partnership details into clear direction.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong presentation and public-speaking skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit partnerships, cause marketing, brand marketing, community impact, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit organizations, partnership structures, and philanthropic best practices preferred.
  • Experience with CRM/project management systems and Canva a plus.
  • Some travel required for partner meetings, campaign activations, Foundation programs, and key events.
