About the Role
Develop communications to employees, clients, and other stakeholders using a variety of channels, including planning, writing, and editing articles, advising on message delivery, coordinating employee events and volunteering activities, managing media requests, promoting research, arranging interviews, and delivering marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Be involved in planning, writing and editing articles for internal websites, newsletters, blogs, social media and announcements
- Give advice and support for the best way to get messages to our employees
- Help coordinate employee events and develop accompanying communications materials
- Support coordination of employee volunteering activities and the firm's financial grants to charities and social enterprises
- Manage incoming requests from journalists and work with internal spokespeople to help UBS gain visibility in the media
- Help promote UBS research and market views to target media outlets
- Arrange events and media interviews with key spokespeople
- Help deliver marketing initiatives that enhance the firm's brand, reputation, and engagement with key audiences
- Support the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and event content, working with teams across regions and business areas
Requirements
- Completing the Industrial Placement program as part of your studies
- Graduating in 2028
- On track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in your first undergraduate / bachelor degree
- Evidence of ability to analyse a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- Evidence of ability to plan, organize and communicate well
- Evidence of ability to make things happen
- Evidence of ability to stick with a task
