About the Role

This role involves compiling, analyzing, and evaluating financial and liquidity forecasts for operating assets across multiple segments. You will provide oversight of financial reporting submissions, prepare presentations for senior management, and support the annual business planning process. The position also includes supporting new acquisitions and identifying process improvements within a growing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and evaluate financial and liquidity forecasts to track operating asset results and articulate findings.
  • Provide oversight of quarterly and annual financial reporting submissions, including compliance, variance analysis, and capital expenditure forecast review.
  • Prepare quarterly operating and results presentations for senior management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of operating businesses to explain performance metrics and strategic objectives.
  • Support financial reporting, including credit agreement compliance, and coordinate with service providers for timely submissions.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos and analysis.
  • Communicate frequently with operating asset finance teams and fund finance teams for supplemental reporting.
  • Support the annual business planning process, including reviewing operating company models and preparing management presentations.
  • Utilize financial modeling and scenario analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into finance and accounting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes within the operating platform.
  • Perform strategic ad-hoc analysis and special projects.

Requirements

  • Qualified CPA or CA, ideally with Big 4 experience and a proven track record of high performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and a team player mentality.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload and professional development.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior executives.
  • Highly analytical with great attention to detail.
  • Exceptional quality standards and a desire for new approaches and insights.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including translating financial results into key messages.
