About the Role
Our award-winning graduate programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in global financial markets. LSEG is at the forefront of trading services, supporting businesses and economies worldwide. Graduates will join flagship trading services or clearing houses, working in a fast-paced environment where instant reaction and long-term vision are equally important. This programme brings together Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Solve problems for FX customers, understanding their business goals, maintaining relationships, and managing post-sale activity.
- Conduct research and analysis into global markets, potentially focusing on debt listings, valuations, and shareholder/geographic analysis.
- Deliver business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Monitor and analyze risks, interpret data, and prepare for risk projects or reporting within Risk teams.
- Assist the product lifecycle and develop specialist skills as an individual contributor.
- Participate in group projects aligned to LSEG goals.
- Contribute to wider society via CSR initiatives and volunteering opportunities.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the graduate programme.
- Completed studies in 2026 or be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student who will complete all course requirements before September 2027.
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets, built through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
- Curiosity for data and ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Ability to connect the dots and think strategically.
- Focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with others using strong communication skills.
- Recognition that achievements and the method of achievement are equally important.
