About the Role

This role involves supporting senior fee earners on a diverse caseload of property and civil litigation matters. The Paralegal will manage their workload effectively, meet targets, and assist with both litigated and non-litigated cases.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior fee earners on property litigation matters.
  • Support senior fee earners on general civil litigation matters.
  • Assist with both litigated and non-litigated matters.
  • Manage workload effectively.
  • Meet individual fee and time-recording targets.

Requirements

  • At least six months' previous paralegal experience, ideally within a property litigation or civil litigation team, dealing with both contentious and pre-action matters.
  • A good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
  • An understanding of the litigation process.
  • Previous experience of property disputes and civil litigation would be advantageous.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
  • Ability to remain organised when working under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic, commercially aware, and keen to develop knowledge of property litigation.
  • Confident dealing with clients, opponents, counsel, experts, and colleagues.
