About the Role
We are seeking an architect or civil engineer to join our architecture and engineering firm in Berlin-Kaulsdorf, supporting our team in architectural and structural planning. Our projects are diverse, including multi-family homes, kindergartens, nursing homes, office buildings, and industrial construction for public clients. We focus on innovative solutions for new builds as well as thoughtful planning for renovations, extensions, and attic conversions.
Responsibilities
- Independent construction supervision and management of demanding civil engineering and building construction projects (HOAI service phases 6-8)
- Preparation of tender and award documents
- Preparation of cost estimates, quantity surveys, and schedules
- Invoice verification and deadline control
- Conducting site appointments and leading site meetings with a solution-oriented approach
- Quality and defect management directly on the construction site
- Communication and coordination with public and private clients, project participants, and executing companies
- Contribution to expert reports on building and fire damage, as well as preventive fire protection
Requirements
- Completed university studies in civil engineering or architecture (Diploma or Master's degree); specialization in construction management is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in HOAI service phases 6-8
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Relevant professional experience, ideally 3 to 5 years
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Confident demeanor and communication skills when dealing with public and private clients
- Structured, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of teamwork
- Knowledge in tendering and quantity surveying is advantageous
