About the Role
Coordinate the end-to-end execution of valve supply orders, managing technical approvals, procurement, financial documentation, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understand technical and commercial requirements of the contract.
- Book the order in the system after technical and commercial review.
- Coordinate with Buyer for ordering materials with right technical specifications.
- Expedite with suppliers’ /manufacturing sites.
- Submit technical documents and arrange approval by client.
- Coordinate with Finance team for Bank guarantee submissions and progress payment invoices.
- Coordinate with other functions and arrange for shipment of order, complete post order documentation.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders as and when necessary.
- Ensure orders are shipped within contractual delivery time.
- Coordinate with Engineering team and obtain drawing approvals from the customer.
- Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance on specification deviations and waivers, and other activities as required.
- Conduct production planning meetings to communicate product requirements, specifications, and timelines to all applicable departments including Engineering, product management, production, quality, and procurement.
- Prepare Inspection and Test plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate in mechanical, production, or instrumentation engineering.
- Diploma with 10+ years of experience in project management will be considered.
- 7+ years of related experience in the valve industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Exposure to dealing with global customers.
- Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
