About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ADOS-2 assessor to join our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) in expanding our Neurodiversity Service. This role involves conducting assessments, co-writing reports, supporting parent coaching, and contributing to service development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ADOS-2 assessments as part of the autism assessment clinic.
- Co-write high-quality and timely ASD reports with a Consultant Paediatrician/Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
- Support delivery of parent coaching sessions for parents/carers of children with ASD or other developmental differences and document them.
- Support formulating intervention plans for families and conduct assessments based on Developmental Curriculum.
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and reflective practice groups.
- Contribute to the expansion of the children's department pathways and services.
- Promote the service through engagement with neurodevelopmental publications and charities.
- Support marketing efforts.
- Support the Director of Clinical Services with organizing, running, and supporting the overall private clinic.
- Travel to other sites, clients’ houses, or conduct assessments or sessions remotely if needed.
Requirements
- Experience with ADOS-2, all modules.
- Experience with a wide age range.
- IT Proficiency (Microsoft Office package).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
